Jammin' Opportunities

It's all go at Jammy Hurricane, with only 6 days to get your entries in for Ickle Fest for FREE. So just to clarify, entries received on or before the 8th of April 2011 are FREE. Johnny-come-lately's then have until the 15th of April 2011 (with a £7 Submission Fee) to get their short-films to us.

We can't wait to see all the exciting short-films that have been submitted, and look forward to receiving more entries before the deadlines. Remember, Ickle Fest is open to anyone, so if you have a short-film that you would like to be considered, head over to our Submissions page to download our Submission Guidelines & Form (or click, here).

Ickle Fest Opportunities

We can now reveal some of the exciting opportunities that will be on offer for those submitting their short-films to Ickle Fest. Aside from the exposure from the event itself, and the great networking opportunity the Festival offers, our friends over at the Hannah Maclure Centre and NEoN Digital Arts Festival have offered internships to a few lucky participants.

Jammy Hurricane and Ickle Fest is all about building on Dundee's rich cultural heritage within the arts, and we want to help budding film makers meet the right people, and get their work out there. The Hannah Maclure Centre and NEoN Digital Arts Festival sit at the heart of this creative hub, and an internship offers invaluable experience with two well established arts organisations.

For more details on these and other opportunities, head over to our Opportunities page.

Jammin' Hurricane

Fancy a pertay? Jammy Hurricane is going to be raising a few pennies for Ickle Fest this Friday at Envy. So get your glad rags on, and come support a good cause (whilst having a wee boogie). All this fun will only cost you £3.50, with all the details on our lovely poster below. DJ sets by Freaky Motherfunkers and FEVER.

See you there!
